All about FTP

Once you created your website using any sitebuilder package then it’s time to upload it to your website hosting account. Usually you can upload all your webpages through your control panel or through using any FTP client software. FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. Using FTP tool you can transfer files from your computer to another computer usually you use FTP for uploading/downloading from your PC to your web host server.

There are many such freely available FTP client softwares available in market. Some Host do provides you certain option using which you can upload all your data using your web browser. This may not be a reliable option if you want to upload multiple files. Thus using FTP client softwares you can easily upload and download files onto your hosting account you need to specify few things while you connect to your webhost server These are the settings that should be used:
