For some reason if you want to uninstall Fantastico you have with your linux cpanel server, there can be many reasons for doing this. Your host have already installed it on your server and you no more want to use it or there was some problem while you were installing it on your server or you just need to uninstall it and want to try installation part yourself. Whaterver may be the reason you can easily remove it from your server. Before proceeding this uninstallation process know more about Fantastico, its a very useful cPanel addon using which you can install most applications which are included within fantastico.
Following are the steps you need to follow to remove Fantastico :
Login your server via SSH as root, and run the following commands:
rm -rf /var/netenberg/
rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/fantastico/
rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/fantastico*
rm -rf /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/*/fantastico
rm -f /usr/local/cpanel/base/frontend/x/cells/fantastico.html
rm -f /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/docroot/cgi/addon_fantastico.cgi
Note: if you have installed fantastico in a different location than the default folder: /var/netenberg/, then you should replace the first line accordingly (this might be /opt/netenberg/, or /home/netenberg/, etc).
